Another great opportunity for the summer! The foreperson position is an upgrade to the painter position whereby the foreman takes on the responsibility for the quality completion of the projects they work on. Many forepersons go on to become franchise managers themselves.

Do I need experience to be a foreperson with UFCP?

Experience is necessary but exceptional performance as a painter is the biggest asset.

Do I need to be a student to apply as a foreperson?

No! We accept applications from anyone who is interested in painting and as result will promote the best performers to the foreperson position.

Is there a training program?

Yes! The foreperson goes through the same training program as painters. Forepersons are then selected based on training completion and on-the-job performance.

Is there a competitive wage?

Wages vary across the country depending on the franchise you've applied for and the region you've applied in. However, as a general rule, we say that a fast, hardworking foreperson could earn 10% more than the painter wage average of $8,000.00.

Is UFCP covered by Worker's Compensation?

Every franchise within our system is required to be registered with the Worker's Compensation board in their region of operation.
