Do I need experience to be a painter with UFCP?

Experience is helpful but not necessary.

Do I need to be a student to apply as a painter?

No! We accept applications from anyone who is interested in painting.

Is there a training program?

Yes! There is a large group training session in each region in April/May. Additionally, every painter is required to pass our online Painter's Test before going on-site. A big part of our training focuses on job site safety.

Is there a competitive wage?

Wages vary across the country depending on the franchise you've applied for and the region you've applied in. However, as a general rule, we say that a fast, hardworking painter could earn $8,000.00 in one summer.

Is UFCP covered by Worker's Comp?

Every franchise within our system is required to be registered with the Worker's Comp board in their region of operation.
